Biggs Darklighter is a minor character who appeared briefly in the original Star Wars film as a starfighter pilot and childhood friend of Luke Skywalker before his death at the film's climax. He is also featured in a deleted scene where he announces his intentions to join the Rebellion, and also appears in the novelization and other tie-in media.

- Biggs is a supporting character in the Blue Milk Special parody fancomic. Although he technically dies at the Battle of Yavin, due to popular outcry, the character has made frequent appearances since, haunting Wedge, and having his own adventures on the side with Oola.
