Canon
Beth and Daryl first meet in Season 2 when the Atlanta group seeks refuge at the Greene farm. When the farm is destroyed by a herd the Greene family joins Rick's group, they travel together over the winter until they find the prison. After the prison falls Daryl and Beth are separated from the group and travel together. During a walker attack Beth is kidnapped. In Season 5 Daryl and Carol discover Beth is being held against her will at Grady Memorial Hospital. Rick's group tries to exchange Beth for members of the hospital group they have captured. At the exchange things go wrong and Beth is killed by Dawn, in retaliation Daryl kills Dawn.
