Beth Arganbright was a frequent attendee at Revelcon and served as the Revelcon panel coordinator for many years. She was also a member of Starbase Houston and Friends of Fandom and published Time and Again (multimedia zine), a series of fanzines that focused on characters returning from the Vietnam War.
Her fannish activity went back many years: she was the secretary of an unknown Star Trek fan club in 1968. See Captain's Log.
She passed in 2006[1] and in 2007 Revelcon held a fund-raiser in her honor for the American Heart Association.
In the April 2006 issue of the Several Unlimited newsletter her friends remembered her: "Beth ran panels at Revelcon in years past when the con was being run by Candace. She had a great wit, lot of opinions, a huge love of slash and gen fic, and a rather jaded sense of humor. She loved to tease and she loved her fandoms, friends, and family fiercely -- and not necessarily in that order." [2]
