Xiao Fei Xia or xfx is a term used by Chinese fans to describe solo fans[1][2][3] of the actor Xiao Zhan. 小飞侠 (Xiǎo fēi xiá) is Mandarin for Peter Pan, so Xiao Zhan's fans are referred to as "Peter Pans". However, because the Mandarin word for shrimp sounds very similar, xfx sometimes refer to themselves as 小肥虾 (Xiǎo féi xiā "small fat shrimp") or use shrimp emojis.[4][5][6]
Xiao Fei Xia are also called 小废虾 (Xiǎo fèi xiā) or loser shrimps by anti-fans.
In Chinese fandom xfx are widely blamed for AO3 getting blocked in China. They continue to argue that they were not responsible.
