Xasphie is a British fanfiction writer in The Sentinel fandom.
From Xasphie's author profile at the Cascade Library archive:
I've come a long way from obsessing about Battlestar Galactica (1978), Airwolf and Robin of Sherwood! I was encouraged to write my first fic (SG-1) by some friends. Somewhere along the line, someone mentioned the words The Sentinel and next thing I knew I was hooked. I never realised how much fun it is to write the stories as well as read them.
Notable Works
- Lonely is Just an Adjective (gen) - When Jim goes missing, Blair returns from Chicago. (2004)
- Enough (Sentinel story) (gen) - Jim's fishing trip doesn't bring all that everyone had hoped. (2005)
Awards
Cascade Times Awards (also known as the Burton Awards)
- 2004 - nominated for Outstanding New Fanfic Writer
- 2005 - nominated for Favorite Angst Story for "Sometimes"
Reviews and Recommendations
Xasphie is a gifted writer with a flair for plots that mine both the "case story" and "angst/hurt comfort categories, making the results more than simply the sum of their parts. Lonely is Just an Adjective|This] is an exceptional read and I'm happy to recommend it on this forum!
