Vampire subculture is a lifestyle and spiritual movement of individuals identifying as or with vampires. The community has links with Dracula, Dark Shadows, Vampire: The Masquerade, and The Vampire Chronicles fandoms, in addition to goth and S&M. While modern communities keep themselves largely separate from fandom, it was common for websites in the 90s to include links to fansites alongside vampire lifestylers. Some vampyres were involved in LARP or had TTRPG groups.
Malkavians
Malkavians are a vampire from Vampire: The Masquerade. In the 1990s, members of alt.vampyres calling themselves Malkavians wrote a round robin-style story titled Children of Malkav.
