Love the work you're doing and all the details you're adding (and correcting). I took a stab at adding a category to Essays of Aquarius‎ . --Morgandawn 19:48, 20 November 2010 (UTC)

All the new information that you've been adding to the zine pages is awesome! \o/ --awils1 12:55, 3 February 2011 (UTC)

I hope you find it useful.--Mapster 15:06, 3 February 2011 (UTC)

Yes, yes to the two above comments. And I love your beautiful scans. --Mrs. Potato Head 13:39, 3 February 2011 (UTC)

I have the advantage of being the "JQ" part of Scotpress so I have the original zines. I decided to scan all our zines and save them as PDFs so I have all the material available on my computer. I was delighted when I found Fanlore and very impressed with all the information on it and all the hard work of those involved. I noticed some gaps in the info on Scotpress & STAG and decided to add what info I can. My friend, SC, is doing a proof-read and should correct any spelling errors. Once I finish doing our zines I will check the other zines I have in the attic to see if there are any not listed. Anything else I can contribute I am only too happy to.--Mapster 15:06, 3 February 2011 (UTC)
This sounds wonderful. If you have a moment, can we chat offline? I too am scanning zines for other fans and would love to compare notes on scanning. There is one other fan I know of who is also scanning and she and I were chatting about best practices. I can be reached at mdawn6 @ yahoo.com.--Morgandawn 17:00, 3 February 2011 (UTC)

Do you know if these zines, are in fact, in a series? A fan reviewed one of them in an issue of STAG and asked, and in the next issue, another fan said this: Fizzbin 17: Confrontation was what she knew. Do you know how they fit together? BTW, thank you for editing and working on these pages, Mapster/JQ! --Mrs. Potato Head 14:01, 11 February 2012 (UTC)

Sorry, I have never heard of Fizzbin 17: Confrontation and don't even know if there were 17 issues of Fizzbin. I only have the STAG newsletters up to issue 49 (1981) so I can't check the reference you mention. The other two stories Time_Is:_Time_Was:_Time_Yet_to_Be & All_Loss_Restored were linked. Sheila Clark hasn't heard of the zine either and thinks Janet Stewart would have more likely submitted the story to us if it was part of a series.
I am only too happy to contribute to Fanlore where I can. I have all the STAG newsletter up to #49 and all the IDIC Newsletters scanned as PDFs so I may add the contents to some of them as I get time. If you want copies you are welcome. I did consider making them available on the web but I am worried about copyright.
Thanks for setting up a page for me. --Mapster 16:10, 11 February 2012 (UTC)
I think it sounds like the fan who wrote STAG to say the Fizzbin zine was connected was probably mistaken, and that the page should be corrected.
I'd love to see any and all contributions from you, Mapster! I'm working on the STAG newsletter page right now. I have issues #77-#141. Do you know how long it ran?
While I added your page to Fanlore, it's only a snippet of what it should be. I'll try to work on it some more, maybe some other folks will add to it, and maybe you (hint, hint!) will.
Would you email me through Fanlore? I can send you the two pages I've scanned that started the Fizzbin mystery, and maybe that will be clue. And we can chat about scans. --Mrs. Potato Head 16:44, 11 February 2012 (UTC)
I would be happy to email you. Can you explain how to do it. --Mapster 17:53, 11 February 2012 (UTC)
