Bio

Editing pages on Fanlore since 2017. Occasional editor to Wikipedia, former editor of the It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Fail-Fandomanon wikis, lapsed fanfic author, fan podcaster, fanvidder, archivist, and essayist! What I lack in formal knowledge I make up with in passion. . .I think.

I started my fannish career around 2006 reading essays on Mugglenet, the Leaky Cauldron, and the Harry Potter Lexicon. In 2010 I found the TV Tropes fanfic recommendation lists and started to read an enormous amount of gen and Remus/Sirius fanfiction. In 2012, I created a Dreamwidth account and started posting to Fandomsecrets as a Sherlock fan before I reluctantly migrated over to Tumblr as that was where the tide seemed to be turning. Also in 2012, I was a Community fan, and an early fic and meta-writer of the Troy/Abed ship. Following this, I was an early Gob/Tony shipper and writer in Arrested Development fandom, a member of Pacific Rim fandom, and an early Mac/Dennis shipper in It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia fandom in 2013/2014. I was in and out of IASIP for four and a half years doing everything under the sun, during which time I was also a writer in Daredevil fandom and an avid comics reader. In 2018 I briefly returned to Arrested Development and then got back into Marvel comics. In 2019 I found a new fixation in rock and roll biographies of the late 20th century and then naturally progressed to being a Harry Styles fan as well later that year, which I am to this day!

To Do/Wish List

  • Hercules Fan Zine
  • Expand Zarry article to include conspiracy theories/New page for Zarrydocumentaries
  • Harry Styles Daily (HSD)
  • UpdateHLD
  • Harry Styles Fashion Archive vs Harry Styles Lookbook (maybe Harry Styles update accounts in general, explaining the update account culture)
  • Gaylors
  • MMM (Harry Styles asthma conspiracy theorist on YouTube)
  • New page dedicated to the "discourse" over whether celebrities can queerbait, explaining where it came from (this needs some archaeology, because it goes back as far as the 90s, and I have done a lot of it actually but I just need to get to it. Will I ever? Depends on how annoyed I get by the essays people keep writing lol)
  • Planet George, an early George Michael fan website
  • YogWorld, another early George Michael fan website
