Dennis Reynolds is a main character in the TV series It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. He is the co-owner of Paddy's Pub, and Dee Reynolds fraternal twin brother. Dennis is best friends with Charlie Kelly and Mac.
Canon
Dennis is extremely vain, selfish, superficial, hypersexual, and delusional about himself. Dennis also has an extreme temper (most notable in later seasons) and will blow up in rage whenever his image is called into question, he doesn't get what he wants, or just plain gets irritated. Dennis routinely destroys others' property and casually mentions committing disturbing acts of sexual and physical violence.
One of Dennis's most predominant traits is that he is extremely self-centered and has an incredibly grandiose, deluded and distorted view of himself that causes him to believe himself to be physically perfect and irresistible to others. He often claims to be a God and believes he should be the leader in all cases of decision making. Dennis's romantic relationships are shallow and brief, and his closest friendships are both codependent and homoerotic (though he believes them to be incredibly cool and masculine).
Dennis went to high school with Mac and Charlie. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and opened Paddy's Pub shortly after.

Popular Dennis Reynolds fan theories
IASIP has a active fan community on Reddit where coming up with outlandish fan theories is a popular fan activity. Dennis Reynolds character is viewed as psychotic by many, with commonly held theories suggesting that he may be a murderer or serial killer. [1] Some fans theorize that Brian LeFevre, a man Dennis impersonated before Brian's body was discovered outside the bar, was Dennis's first victim. Others point to the fact Dennis keeps zip ties, and duck tape in the trunk of his car as further evidence. One crossover theory, speculates that Dennis is The Scranton Strangler a serial killer from The Office, that is captured and sentenced to death. [2]
Another common fan theory is that Dennis may be a serial rapist.
