TobiDei Week is a fanweek on tumblr celebrating the Tobi x Deidara ship (Uchiha Obito and Deidara from Naruto). All languages are welcome and every year the prompt list is translated to several languages including Spanish, Portuguese and Japanese, apart from English. The tumblr blog for the event was created on 21 August 2017.[1]
Every year, the Tobidei Week event has always had an original cover fanart, commissioned by Ubeetlebum. In the first six years, it has been created by the Spanish artist Nekokagegirl.
Traditionally, day six is reserved for NSFW themes.
Rules
- All forms of art are accepted. Fanfics, fanarts, graphics, etc.
- Tobidei centric works only. Side pairings or characters are okay.
- All languages are accepted.
- Please use the tag #Tobideiweek on your entries within the first 5 tags.
- Submit your own work only.
- No reposting. The point of the event is to show our love for the pairing by creating something new.
- No bashing. Please be gentle.
- Tag your NSFW (Because it's an event to celebrate Tobidei, noncon and shota won’t be accepted). Keep in mind Tumblr rules regarding NSFW.
- You may skip days or combine prompts.
- Late entries are accepted up to one week after the event is over. After that, send us a message so we can reblog it.

2017
TobiDei Week 2017 was October 8–14.[3] As the event was announced with a short notice, there wasn't a lot of participation.

2018
TobiDei Week 2018 was October 1–7.[6] Keeping in mind the feedback from the previous year, prompts became more specific and the Day 7 free prompt was removed. The event was also announced a few months in advance.

2019
Tobidei Week 2019 was from October 5th to October 13th. [8] Like in previous years, the prompts were submitted by other Tobidei content creators. This is the first year an AO3 collection was created and the two resting days introduced. The rules were also changed, following Tumblr new guidelines in regard of adult content.

2020
Tobidei Week 2020 was from October 10th to October 18th. Twitter account was opened on May 2020 [10]. After holding an interest check, the number of prompts was doubled to two per day and the free prompt was brought back on day seven. Due to Covid-19 worlwide lockdowns, this was the year with the highest number of entries.

Tobidei Week 2022 is October 8-16 and was announced on June 27 2022. [13] The post requested prompt suggestions, indicating that prompts from the first two Tobidei Weeks were also eligible and could be submitted as well. The commissioned header art for this year was made using an image generated by craiyon, an AI model that generates images from a prompt.
