Toast the Knowing is a character in 2015's Mad Max: Fury Road. One of The Wives, she escapes from the warlord Immortan Joe with the help of Imperator Furiosa.

Toast is independent and logical, and shows knowledge in the outside world - how to reload a gun and drive, for example.

Toast is constantly keeping track of who has what resources, how they get those resources, and when those resources get used up. This isn’t the mentality of someone who was raised in the shadow of Immortan Joe, the way Angharad and Cheedo seem to have been, cut off from knowledge of the outside world and provided for.[1]
