Times is a Doctor Who newsletter issued by the Legion of Rassilon, a Doctor Who fan club out of California who were responsible for Timecon.

These newsletters were published in the mid-1980s and issued monthly. The issues include things like discussions of then upcoming episodes, commentaries, and convention information. Each issue is about 8 pages long (originally folded in half).

A 1990 issue states that: "The LEGION OF RASSILON is a member of the DOCTOR WHO SUPPORT GROUP and the Lionheart club -- THE FRIENDS OF THE DOCTOR, and exchanges newsletters with other DOCTOR WHO and BLAKE'S 7 fan clubs."

  • schedule of when Doctor Who airs on the television channel KTEH

  • some ads for comic book stores

  • there is info about Star Trek: The Next Generation first season reruns being run on television
  • convention info/schedule for media cons, Creation Con, a comics con, science fiction cons
  • info about the fan campaign to bring back Beauty and the Beast: "Vincent Lives! Yes, "Beauty and the Beast" is not dead. If not renewed, at least it's in remission! It has been announced that the already produced episodes (including the three not aired by CBS) will be picked up by the Family Cable Channel, for broadcast starting in September. They plan to show two episodes a week back-to-back on either Mondays or Fridays. VCR alert!... [snipped]... Please send your cards and letters as soon as you can, so that CBS knows that there is still interest in this series. Remember, be polite, cneise and supportive!"
  • fans are encouraged to support Alien Nation: "George Nas Matt Less Kay Vots S/Ieema Rof Rankel: For those of you who have been living in a cave, the above is in Tenctonese, which is the language often heard on the Fox Network series, "Alien Nation". Watch the reruns while you can, because it looks as if this superb (!) series will be canceled along with a number of other fantasy and Sci-Fi TV series, such as "War of the Worlds" and "Friday the 13th". There may be a chance to save "Alien Nation" tho'. Although Fox Broadcasting has canceled the show (on a cliffhanger!). Fox Studios (a separate entity) has expressed interest in picking up production."
