Contents

  • Echoes (previously in As I Do Thee #3): The lingering effects of the Fal Tor Pan on Spock and McCoy bring stress to each man, including Kirk, and to the cohesive whole of their friendship.
  • From The Fields (previously in As I Do Thee #2): “This Side of Paradise” told from a different perceptive. The vulnerability Spock experiences with the spores causes him to flee from what transpired between him and Kirk.
  • In Shame's Wake (previously in Greater California K/S): A look at “Is There In Truth No Beauty?” and why Spock “forgot” the eye shield when he returned Kollos to his environmental receptacle.
  • In The Eye of The Storm (previously in Naked Times #8): Kirk, Spock and McCoy try to come to terms with what has changed following the Fal Tor Pan.
  • Little Sorrows Parts 1 & 2 (previously in As I Do Thee #4): Kirk is suffering a mysterious sleep disorder, one which Spock eventually figures out... and to which he finds an unorthodox solution.
  • Occasionally Lavender (previously in Naked Times #10): Captain Spock and First Officer Kirk begin separate shore leaves but end up in the same, isolated location.
  • One Unexpected Morning (previously in Legends #3 and A World In Us): A stream of consciousness ramble in Kirk's brain as he has an epiphany one morning while on his way to the bridge.
  • The Dark Distance (previously in T'hy'la #25): A mysterious oracle has drawn Kirk's attention and, in return, the oracle has been drawn to Kirk. Perceptions are manipulated in an attempt to understand human love, by both the oracle and Kirk.
  • Thunder & Lightning (previously in Legacy #1): There's a storm brewing both outside and inside the Enterprise and Dr. McCoy thinks he's the only one seeing it, the only one who can carry the crew – and her commanding officers – to safe harbor.
