The Naked Never was a Star Trek: The Next Generation skit that became a fan film.
A parody of the episode "The Naked Now" (TNG), this Harpic Productions skit was performed live at an Astrex meeting in Sydney, Australia, in 1990. The production included a life-size, cardboard Enterprise-D bridge set. Members of the cast wrote many of their own lines, with most speeches being in the form of limericks. Cast included Ian McLean as Data, Karen Irving as Yar, Rachel Shave as Bev, John Shave as Picard, Roslyn Von Werstak as Troi and Eric Von Werstak as Riker. The skit concluded with the filksong, "Hey Big Klingon", with the new lyrics set to the music of "Big Spender".
The script was later published in Sons of Kiron III, in October 1991, with the character names slightly altered to protect the innocent, e.g. Deanna Troi became "Dinner Tray".
"It was videotaped by George Papadeas for posterity. What a pity it's on the Australian PAL system [for fans] who only have NTSC." -- from a fan review in Androidz, October, 1992.
