The Forbidden Forest - A Harry Potter slash fanfiction archive. It was a member of The Harry Potter Slash Web Ring where it was listed with the description: "All pairings are accepted. Site also contains free Harry Potter backgrounds for other pages."[1]
Starting out as an archive for all Harry Potter slash pairings, it later changed its focus to rare pairings:
This site is getting a complete re-haul: from now on, it's a site for the 'forbidden' pairings, ie those characters and pairings in HP fandom that don't get as much attention as they deserve. Instead of Harry/Draco or Remus/Sirius, expect Neville/Percy, Marcus Flint/Oliver Wood, and several others that are unusual. The wonderful Ailei has graciously agreed to help me make this site pretty, so lovely backgrounds etc will be going up as soon as she has time. In the meantime, I'll be adding stories as I gather them. Hugs, Khirsah[2]
The reason for this change was apparently that another archive with a more general focus existed.
Because the new Harry Potter Slash archive is almost completed, I decided to remake this archive for the minor characters and unlikely pairings.[3]
