The Author's Spotlight was a website hosting interviews and essays with fic authors. Each "Spotlight" also included fanfic recommendations of and by the interviewees.
The fans interviewed are:
- Rod M - author of such works as "The More Things Change" and "Sailor Hellblazer."
- Kielle and Laersyn - co-creators of X-MST3K, Subreality Cafe and the Camelot archive, as well as many comics fanfics.
- DarkMark - writer of many DC and other comic company fanfics.
- Ryan Mathews - writer of the "Last Exit Before Toll" column for the Anime Web Turnpike.
- Mike Loader - anime fic writer
- David D. Amaya - founder and moderator of Outside the Lines
- Kun-chan - lemon writer
- Matt Nute - comics fanfiction writer and moderator of the 2000 CBFFAs.
- KayJay - Draco's Mom, the Mooks' confidante and Mighty Climber of Trees
- Eyrie Productions' staff - collective of fanfiction writers for the shared universe Undocumented Features.
