The Annals of the Conqueror is a Xena the Conqueror Fan Fiction Index. As "the original Conqueror site, The Annals of the Conqueror is the place for Conqueror fanfic history, trivia and links."[1]

The character of Xena the Conqueror was introduced in the Hercules episode "Armaggedon Now" which is set in an alternate world where Xena has conquered all of Greece.

From the main page:

This website is... Dedicated to keeping track of any and all Xena the Conqueror stories that have appeared on the internet. It is, in essence, a link list of (one hopes) practically every single Xena the Conqueror story that's ever made its way online. Think of it like a one-stop shop for all your Xena the Conqueror needs. I created this website in November of 1998 with the idea of keeping track of XTC (Xena the Conqueror) stories. Please note that this site only keeps track of "classic" Conqueror stories -- that is, Xena the Conqueror stories set in the time frame of "ancient times" -- akin to the time frame of XWP (excluding modern uber settings) and must contain either Xena the Conqueror or Gabrielle the Conqueror as part of the story. Although one or two stories make reference to "modern times", the bulk of any Conqueror stories listed on the index must take place in the "long ago and far away" setting of "classic" XWP and XWP related stories. This Xena the Conqueror site does not index uber, uberesque, or "modern times" Conqueror stories.

The page has a glossary page:

ADULT: Fan fiction designation in several fandoms. Denotes fan fiction with violent and/or sexual content. (See also GEN, MPAA RATINGS)

ALT: Alternative. Fan fiction desgination usually used in Xena: Warrior Princess (XWP) fandom to denote [lesbian] subtext fan fiction content. ALT fan fiction usually consist of same-sex pairings (mostly F/F pairings, sometimes M/M pairings - found mainly in HTLJ fandom) and have varying degrees of sexual content. (See also F/F, GAY/LESBIAN SLASH, GEN, MPAA RATINGS, 'SHIPPER, SLASH, SUBTEXT)

C-W/S: Conqueror-Warrior/Slave. Fan fiction designation in XWP and HTLJ fandoms. Alternate timeline wherein Xena forgets/pretends/becomes/is a warlord and goes on to conquer kingdoms, etc. Not necessarily Xena the Conqueror fan fiction, but has Conqueror story-like elements. Some of these stories are defined as "Xena the Conqueror fan fic" stories by the authors, but do not necessarily fall under the ARMAGEDDON NOW Xena the Conqueror premise. Other stories were written before the ARMAGEDDON NOW episode aired, but has Conqueror-like story elements. (See also XENA THE CONQUEROR)

F/F: Female/Female. Fan fiction designation in several fandoms to denote a romantic and/or sexual relationship between two women. (See also ADULT, ALT, GAY/LESBIAN SLASH, MPAA RATINGS, 'SHIPPER, SLASH, SUBTEXT)

GAY/LESBIAN SLASH: Fan fiction designation in several fandoms. Denotes M/M (usually denoted as Gay Slash) and F/F (denoted as Lesbian, Lady, Fem(ale), or Sapphic Slash) pairings in fan fiction stories. Contains varying degrees of sexual content. (See also ADULT, ALT, F/F, M/M, MPAA RATINGS, 'SHIPPER, SLASH, SUBTEXT)

GEN: General. Fan fiction designation in several fandoms. Usually denotes fan fiction with little or no violence and no sexual content. GEN stories usually stay within the boundaries (whether it is characterization of principals- i.e. characters-, violence, or sexual content) set within a specific movie or tv show. These stories follow the examples (level of violence, sexual content, etc.) set by the particular movie or tv show in which the fan fiction story is set. However, in some cases (and fandoms), GEN fan fiction does contain some sexual content - mainly M/F pairings (please see 'SHIPPER for more details). Some stories also contain violence. In many fandoms, the term ADULT is used when stories contain violence and/or sexual content with M/F pairings. In XWP and HTLJ fandoms, the term GEN is used to denote stories that contain violence and/or sexual content with M/F pairings (again usually following the examples set of the levels of violence and/or sexual content found in the tv episodes). Content within these stories contain varying degrees of violence and/or sexual content. (See also ADULT, ALT, HET SLASH, M/F, MPAA RATINGS, 'SHIPPER)

HET SLASH: Heterosexual Slash. Fan fiction designation in several fandoms. Usually denotes M/F pairings in fan fiction stories. Contains varying degrees of sexual content and/or violence. (See also ADULT, M/F, MPAA RATINGS, 'SHIPPER, SLASH)

HTLJ: Hercules- The Legendary Journeys

M/M: Male/Male. Fan fiction designation in several fandoms to denote a romantic and/or sexual relationship between two men. (See also ADULT, GAY/LESBIAN SLASH, MPAA RATINGS, 'SHIPPER, SLASH)

MPAA RATINGS: Motion Picture Association of America. Ratings for content in movies. Also used in some fandoms. (Source for ratings descriptions: http://www.filmratings.com/questions.htm) [...]

'SHIPPER: Relationshipper. Fan fiction designation used in many fandoms, notably X-Files (XF) fandom. A fan fiction writer/fan of a tv show, movie, etc. that writes/views the principals (i.e. main or secondary characters) as having a romantic and/or sexual relationship that is not within the boundaries set by a particular movie or tv show. Fan fictions written by 'SHIPPERS contain varying degrees of sexual content and varying degrees of slash content (M/F, F/F, M/M). (See also ADULT, ALT, F/F, GAY/LESBIAN SLASH, GEN, HET SLASH, M/F, M/M, MPAA RATINGS, SLASH, SUBTEXT)

SLASH: Fan fiction designation in several fandoms. Usually denotes fan fiction that contains sexual content, generally same-sex pairings (F/F, M/M). SLASH may also designated M/F pairings. (See also ADULT, ALT, GAY/LESBIAN SLASH, F/F, GEN, HET SLASH, M/F, M/M, MPAA RATINGS, SUBTEXT)

SUBTEXT: Fan fiction designation in XWP fandom. Denotes lesbian innuendo and/or relationship usually between Xena/Gabrielle or other F/F pairings or couples (Melinda/Janice, Ubers). Fan fiction designated as containing SUBTEXT vary in sexual content from mild innuendo to explicit F/F sexual content. (See also ADULT, ALT, GAY/LESBIAN SLASH, F/F, GEN, MPAA RATINGS, 'SHIPPER, SLASH)

U: Unfinished story.

XC: Xena the Conqueror. Fan fiction designation in XWP and HTLJ fandoms. Alternate timeline that conforms to the HTLJ episode, "ARMAGEDDON NOW" premise. Xena the Conqueror stories are ones based on the vision of Xena as set forth in the HTLJ episode ARMAGEDDON NOW. The premise of this episode was that in a world where Hercules never existed, Xena never saved Gabrielle from slavers, going on instead to become an uncompromising, often cruel despot and ruler of all the known world. Some of these stories use the exact characterization of Gabrielle shown in the episode, others alter it a bit, but in general, she is shown as someone who opposes Xena's tyranny.
