From a Flyer
Why does anybody ever produce a zine? There are probably as many answers to that question as there are zines. For us, all it takes is listening to the lyrics sung by as beautiful a voice as David Soul's, and the imagination begins to run rampant. In the past four years we have brought four four Starsky & Hutch zines, most of whose titles have come from David's songs. This Zine is no different. While listening to David's latest CD, "Leave A Light On For Me," we were inspired by the song "Test of Faith", a beautiful song about love and trusting in it. As we listened we were reminded of so many beautiful memories of S&H over the years as well as the personal friendships this fandom has engendered. One such friendship that came to mind was of a dear friend recently gone from us... Tabby Davis. It is with love and great respect that we dedicate this zine to her and her many contributions to this fandom.
Submissions... we need submissions!!!!
We would like this zine to include stories about love and/or trust, or both together. Your story could even be set in an Alternate Universe as long as love and trust is the main theme. As always, just the tiniest little bit of personal slant on it....
Submissions may be any length and may feature Starsky and Hutch at any stage of their lives, from the earliest just-met-on-the-first-day-of-the-academy, to the comfortable many-years-as-lovers of old age.
Please email to: [redacted] Deadline for submissions is Febuary [sic] 14th, 2006. Anticipated premier... MediaWest, May 2006. We encourage submissions from first time writers. All edits are done with TLC.
