Template talk:Fandom
Would this template also be used for the non-RPF actor fandoms that pair the same actors, but always astheir characters, i.e. Hewligan, Kiefer/Lou or the fandom that pairs Nimoy's with Shatner's character in multiple sources, like not just Trek but TJ Hooker and such.--RatCreature 00:59, 15 March 2010 (UTC)
- Yes! I already changed Kiefer/Lou--does the template look okay?--æthel 01:50, 15 March 2010 (UTC)
- It's a better fit than the template before, though I find the name puzzling. I've never seen this kind of fandom called "mashup".--RatCreature 09:06, 15 March 2010 (UTC)
- Sorry about that. I couldn't think what to name it until after the fact. Would you call the fandom type "6 degrees" or is there another term?--æthel 14:32, 15 March 2010 (UTC)
- I'm not sure there is collective term for this kind of fandom. I've seen it called actor crossover earlier, and more recently the "6 degrees of such and such" sometimes (though really only for DS and SGA that I can think of), also spin-off fandom, so I don't know.--RatCreature 14:46, 15 March 2010 (UTC)
the date field
Since fandoms never die, how about changing the date field to "Date started"?--æþel 21:48, 14 April 2012 (UTC)
