Does File:Men10art2.jpg count as a visual pun?--aethel (talk) 16:09, 9 March 2019 (UTC)
- Hm. My instinct is to say no, because a pun is a play on words, and this seems to be a play on Same Actor, Different Characters (unless there's a pun in the drawing that I missed because I'm only vaguely familiar with each fandom).
- I wouldn't call the Spock/Sherlock thing a pun, but looking at the I Am Not Spock page, possibly it would be considered a pun in fandom context? Drat. I'd really like a Star Trek fan's opinion on this.

- The Spock-Sherlock topic was huge in both ST: TOS, and in TNG. For TOS because of Nimoy's portrayal on stage of Sherlock, the line in the movie "The Undiscovered Country," and Spock's personality. For TNG because of the Sherlock Holmes episode. But I think the "I Am Not Spock/Sherlock" riffing, while playful, is more satire than pun. --MPH (talk) 12:34, 25 March 2019 (UTC)
