Is there a name for the trope of the characters and the actors who portray the actors switching places on the filming set or at a convention? --MPH (talk) 18:10, 20 May 2015 (UTC)
- I don't know, but the trope is used in the sixth season Supernatural episode "The French Mistake".--aethel (talk) 22:52, 21 May 2015 (UTC)
Seeing all the different stories, for different genres, reminds me of a story I wrote (in segments) on the old GEnie network. It started with TNG Enterprise encountering a heretofore unknown anomaly, and when they triggered it open, the TNG crew found themselves intermixed with other genres: Star Wars, Babylon 5, Space: 1999, Lost In Space, Buck Rogers, Battlestar Galactica, Doctor Who. I had fun with the different characters interacting, including Bill Mumy and Andreas Katsulas characters with "themselves" (G'Kar, Tomalak; Will Robinson, Lennier). Recently found my printouts and retyped it, adding Stargate to it. Gcapp1959 (talk) 03:11, 6 January 2024 (UTC)
