Discussion of the term, incl. other uses of "uber" in fandoms other than Xena: [1] --sparc (talk) 22:45, 8 December 2012 (UTC)
- What other uses? I didn't see any in the linked discussion. What I saw was all about the Xena fandom term and how it leaked into other femslash fandoms. Other than that, there is a mention that it's a German term that is sometimes used in accordance with the German meaning. What did I miss? --Doro (talk) 22:56, 8 December 2012 (UTC)
- I didn't read it through all that carefully but the comments mention X-Files, Star Trek Voyager, and HP "uberfiction". Maybe it's not that useful -- I just didn't have a chance to really go through it so linked it here so I didn't lose it :) --sparc (talk) 23:16, 8 December 2012 (UTC)
- ETA: Upon slightly closer inspection, most of it probably is how the Xena term/concept is used in those other fandoms? Which still could be interesting to include here.
