Talk:Transformers (films)

There have been more Transformer films than the ones listed here. It looks like this only covers Bayverse films, not the animated one that came before (The Transformers: The Movie from 1986), the 2013 Transformers Prime movie, or the 2018 film Bumblebee. I created a glossary page for Bayverse, which is the fandom term covering all Bay directed Transformer films. At the moment this page is basically just another Bayverse page, and I think it should be expanded to include the other three Transformer movies, leaving the Bayverse page as a more focused Bay-related page. I'm actually starting to think that maybe the individual films (possibly save for the bayverse films which are usually considered one cohesive canon universe, and the prime movie which can be covered on the transformers prime page, and the 1st movie on the normal transformers show page... actually that just leaves the bumblebee movie) need to be given their own pages? After all, we don't have a page that covers all the TV shows, they each have their own pages. So I'm not sure why we would cover every Transformers film on one page, either. That said, I feel like this page should actually be deleted and have it's contents moved to Bayverse, then a separate page for the Bumblebee movie can be made, the Prime movie should be covered on the Transformers: Prime page, and the 1st movie on the Transformers show page (I think that would be Transformers Generation One Cartoon). I'm trying to get permission to combine the Transformers Generation One and Transformers Generation One Cartoon pages deleted and merged into one cohesive "The Transformers (TV series)" page. If that's done, the 1986 film should be covered there as it's based off the TV series. The prime movie should be covered on it's page (or the expanded universe page), and I still believe this page should have it's info moved to the Bayverse page and be deleted. There is already a The Transformers (TV series) article. The Transformers Generation One article is not meant to be a fandom article, as in it uses the fandom infobox, but it is supposed to be a glossary page explaining what Generation One is and how the term is used, or at least that is how I read it -- Kingstoken (talk) 20:57, 30 January 2021 (UTC)
