I tried to move the contents summary up, but don't know how. Can someone help? --Mrs. Potato Head 18:42, 2 January 2011 (UTC)
- I moved the contents up; it now interferes with the two 1968 images. I moved the images, but someone with higher screen resolution should take a look at how they display.--æþel 18:53, 2 January 2011 (UTC)
- I moved them, and made them smaller before I saw your message here. I don't know if my solution is any better. --Mrs. Potato Head 18:55, 2 January 2011 (UTC)
- I removed the break after the gallery because it created circa 12 cm of empty space with my screen resolution and moved the other picture to the year it belongs to. It looks fine to me know. What this page needs is an infobox! --Doro 21:03, 2 January 2011 (UTC)

I put in a couple of line breaks in the image gallery, which is a cludgy hack, and we should likely take it out, but the issue is that in the skin I use--The default Wordpress skin-- images in a gallery are bottom aligned based on the caption text. Which means they do not have a defined caption space like they do in the Monobook skin for example. Image galleries just look very bad in the Wordpress skin all out of line across the page. Is this perhaps an issue with the CSS for that skin not defining the gallery tag correctly?--facetofcathy 22:14, 2 January 2011 (UTC)
- Hi there.
- I've fixed the bug with the lack of space between the images -- it'll be a big task to remove all of those br tags from galleries in use. I will take prettying up the galleries to Wiki :) --awils1 13:35, 7 February 2011 (UTC)
- Uh, no, I don't think you did.^^ There is more space now *between* the images, but they still don't align correctly. Images in the same row begin at different heights. Compare Suzan_Lovett#Gallery in Wordpress (default) with the same gallery in Monobook or Modern style. Monobook looks so much better (not just the properly formatted gallery) that I could weep. --Doro 05:42, 9 February 2011 (UTC)
- I'm sorry, I misunderstood what FacetofCathy was asking for -- I can certainly top-align the images and reduce the spacing. I wasn't sure, also, whether her original request asked for borders, which is why I have taken it to Wiki for discussion. --Awils1 04:21, 10 February 2011 (UTC)
- I've top-aligned the cells of the gallery table (which is what the gallery tag creates), and given the image border. I think it looks a lot neater, but I'd appreciate some commentary -- tell me what looks like in your browser, and your resolution. --Awils1 04:40, 10 February 2011 (UTC)
- It looks great on my iPhone (Safari), will check later with my home PC. Thank you! :D --Doro 07:24, 10 February 2011 (UTC)
- Sorry, Awils1, I'd forgotten all about this page and hadn't checked back. I was talking only about the alignment problem, not worrying about borders or no borders. I think the skin looks fine with or without borders. I see the page just fine on my screen 1600X900 resolution and it maintains the correct position even with the font cranked up to a very big size. Looks like a good fix to me. --facetofcathy 15:31, 10 February 2011 (UTC)
