Talk:Timeline of Fandom and Profit

How is there no discussion of or timeline of Cassandra Clare's books on this page? They are from The Draco Trilogy.

This is a tricky case because Cassandra Clare's pro series isn't directly based on the Draco Trilogy (though some think TMI characterizations are based off DT characters, and the falcon passage and maybe some other lines? were lifted directly from DT, etc.) -- so it's not a straightforward case of filing off the serial numbers. And it's not really practical to list all fans turned pro here, though CC is a very notable example, what with her keeping her fandom pseud and being enormously popular in both fandom and YA. Maybe there can be a section of the Fandom and Profit page that talks about fans turning pro and bringing their fandom following over into their pro work? --sparc (talk) 05:15, 16 July 2013 (UTC)
