Talk:The Husky and His White Cat Shizun
Page Name Discussion
The title of this page includes the English translation twice (The Husky and His White Cat Shizun). Also, I don't think we usually stick the author's name directly next to the content's name in a page title (A page is called Harry Potter, not Harry Potter - by J.K. Rowling). Should this page be moved so it can be re-named?
I'm also not sure about it having it's title named 3 different ways; twice translated in English, once in Chinese characters, and once in Chinese but with English characters. I would think there should be one way its named then the rest would be redirects? I'm not certain how works from other languages are named, though I know I've seen pages titled in French and Japanese (with English characters). Patchlamb (talk) 18:15, 16 September 2020 (UTC)
- I agree this page should be moved (which is the same as renaming a page), so only one title is the page name. It could be moved to The Husky and His White Cat Shizun, or to one of the Chinese versions of the title, and we can create redirects so the others link to this page too. Is there any preference for a new page name? The original editor Heartagrama is more than welcome to weigh in. --Auntags (talk) 21:50, 17 September 2020 (UTC)
I'm not able to move or delete the page. If anyone can do it, feel free.
- Based on your recent edit to the page, I'll move this page to The Husky and His White Cat Shizun. We can still record the Chinese language title on the page, and we can create a redirect using the chinese title. I'm also add an infobox and category to help editors build out the page. --Auntags (talk) 21:27, 18 September 2020 (UTC)
