Talk:TV Channels
Page Formatting
I'm not sure if this is the right format for this page, or if this page is even needed, but I was spotting links scattered around to channel names, and I figured we probably don't need separate pages for each separate channel. I'm woefully uninformed about non-US channels, though, and entirely ignorant about channels from non-English-speaking countries. --Arduinna 16:46, 11 February 2009 (UTC)
- I like this page, especially as you've got it set up now, as a very quickly sketched overview, and can see it being useful. --Betty 06:15, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
Split between channels and streaming?
Should we have a separate heading for streaming channels from location-based channels? I know that sometimes they have different contents in different areas, but Netflix is definitely not a "United States" channel. I don't know if there's also value in a section for free vs. paid subscription channels; I'm not sure if any of the free streaming sites have new/original content. --Elf (talk) 23:03, 21 August 2020 (UTC)
MGM Studio or Channel?
MGM is referring to a production studio rather than a TV channel. It seems more appropriate for this page to list channels MGM has an interest in (like Epix) rather than the studio. JoeyW (talk) 05:51, 25 June 2022 (UTC)
- JoeyW corrected, it was a small typo made by me who doesn't speak a word of English and was trying to make it explicit in the text that the channel was related to the movie studio -- Ellakbhesse (talk) 12:56, 25 June 2022 (UTC)
