Cool page! I'm wondering if there's more to say about "the particular popularity of the Sherlock entry has lead to a trend on YouTube of very long videos with the same title in the hopes of gaming the algorithm" - that sounds interesting, but it isn't clear to me (as someone who doesn't use Youtube very much) exactly how what that looks like/entails. - Fandomgeographies (talk) 17:56, 16 February 2019 (UTC)

There's definitely more to say, but I dunno what to say about it! It sounds like reili is going to add something to it either here or on the X Is Garbage And Here's Why page, although I'm not sure if it means to make a page about hbomb's series or about the general trend in titling videos that way. I don't actually know anything about Youtube lmao so I've just been hoping someone from the YT FanloreProject would add, like, actual YT info to the page. - Hoopla (talk) 18:05, 16 February 2019 (UTC)
yeah it doesn't actually go on this page, precisely? like, hour long videos basically copying the format and title of the sherlock video in the hopes that people will mistake it for an entry in X Is Garbage And Here's Why have become A Thing but there's not really anything more to say about this specific example than that. if you want an example the most prominent ones are Steven Universe Is Garbage And Here's Why and Legend of Korra Is Garbage And Here's Why both by Lily Orchard, but overall the trend is kind of just An Example of something? like, there's no significant Drama surrounding it, or anything more related to the video itself. it's just something people do because similarly titled videos get recommended near each other.
