Talk:Sesame Street

Hi LongLiveRock. I was just wondering why my revision was undone? For clarification, I'd put the section as a placeholder for info on the Sesame Street short Cracks, and the cult following it garnered because of its elusive nature, and attempts at trying to find it. -- OfMonstersAndWerewolves (talk) 19:58, 28 July 2021 (UTC)
- I can't speak for LongLiveRock but given that your edit didn't provide context for what "Cracks" is it's possible they misinterpreted your edit as a mistake. Maybe change the placeholder section title to something like "The Long-Lost 'Cracks' Short" to make its intent clearer? Night Rain (talk) 00:01, 29 July 2021 (UTC)
- Tbf that is a very good point with the lack of context, and I did suspect that might have been why. I guess I assumed nobody would have noticed the placeholder yet, or would have waited until I'd gone back to it. I promise I wasn't going to randomly shove a bunch of stuff about drugs on a page about a children's puppet show XD -- OfMonstersAndWerewolves (talk) 20:08, 29 July 2021 (UTC)
- Haha, well, there's a ton of dark creepypastas about children's franchises floating around. I would be surprised if there weren't some kind of tragic drug-related headcanon for Sesame Street out there. XD But I'd actually thought "crack" in the sense of crack fiction. And if I may be permitted another speculation here, it's possible LongLiveRock noticed your edit because they have this page on their watchlist, since they edited it back in February. Fanlore's software seems to automatically add any page you edit to your watchlist even if you only make one minor edit. (I've had to clean out my watchlist multiple times.) Hi, it's me, I still have no idea why I revised the edit, maybe because I didn't know what it was. I'm still not sure--LongLiveRock (talk) 15:38, 11 August 2021 (UTC)
