P&A Instruction

Hi Night Rain, Welcome back. The Fanlore Policy & Admin team has discussed this matter and we are giving you this guidance and instruction regarding your behavior on Fanlore going forward:

  • In the event that an article is locked for PPOV reasons and you wish to discuss it, please discuss the matter on the article's talk page.
  • Do not go to the talk page of the Gardener who locked the article, and do not begin a discussion about that matter there.
  • If you find yourself in a disagreement or dispute with another editor, please avoid escalating the situation, even if it is frustrating.
  • Be patient and understanding with other editors.
  • When someone acts in a way that you feel is not conducive to a good editing environment on Fanlore, please interact with them calmly and charitably, and contact Gardeners with an attention gardeners template, or Policy & Admin via the contact form.
  • If you believe an editor is acting inappropriately in any way, whether violating Fanlore editing best practices, or condoning or spreading a problematic belief, please do not argue with them. Instead, contact Fanlore Policy & Admin via the contact form.
  • Fanlore P&A will typically respond within 2-3 weeks.
  • Future continued escalations or actions not in accordance with these instructions will result in a long or permanent block from Fanlore.

Thank you for your many valuable contributions, and we look forward to more editing from you in the future. -- FBV (talk) 11:45, 23 January 2024 (UTC)
