This comment sounds very belligerent and leaves me with more questions than I started with:

Despite the full interview being out, Harry/Hermione shippers still twist her words, just like they did when Rowling said that Hermione and Harry's relationship was very platonic in an interview in 1999.

It would be better to explain how exactly Harry/Hermione shippers interpreted her words, and how the fandom in general reacted, both to JKR's comments and to Harry/Hermione shippers' reaction. Also, a description of the 1999 interview is needed somewhere.--æþel (talk) 03:03, 28 October 2014 (UTC)

I clarified the section and expanded it to included earlier interviews, but I think more could be said about fan reactions to the 2014 interview. The section is kind of overwhelming the page atm, I think the R/Hr-H/Hr shipwars could probably get their own article eventually and then it can be trimmed down. --sparc 17:42, 28 October 2014 (UTC)
