I know I'm clumsily clomping around this subject but it's a start. People: please, add, edit, and refine as there is so much more to say. --MPH (talk) 21:31, 1 February 2015 (UTC)
- It looks like the topic of this page is actually Feminization of Male Characters in Fanworks. I think there's enough meta just on this topic to fill the page. A discussion about masculinity in women could still fit here as a counterpoint--if it gets long enough, we can break it out to its own page. We could have additional pages for Male Characters in Fanworks, Female Characters in Fanworks, Non-binary Characters in Fanworks. I think it's harder to figure out how to add to a page when it is broader in scope. We could have an overview page for Gender in Fanworks to link to all the related topics on Fanlore. PhoenixFalls was asking me about how to structure/name a page on non-binary characters. Meanwhile, we have a page for transfic because it is a glossary term.--æþel (talk) 00:29, 2 February 2015 (UTC)
- I can see renaming this page Feminization of Male Characters in Fanworks. What I don't like is that the "femininization" part of this is seen by some fans as not so feminization, but infantilization. But perhaps that's my own stuff showing, and I need to get past that. Can I pass the renaming of this page over to someone else? --MPH (talk) 02:16, 2 February 2015 (UTC)
