Talk:MCYT

This page needs a major overhaul. I mean, for starters, MCYT the acronym was in use as early as 2014, lmao. --Serilly (talk) 14:59, 5 November 2021 (UTC)

Certainly, please do continue to enhance the page with better and more updated information, the MCYT fandom is larger and older than the neo-fandom makes it seem. I should note that the addition of it "starting in 2020" seems to have been an edit from just last night that majorly changed the "content creators" section, which I am debating on whether I fully agree with the change or not (though the 2020 mention does have a good reference). The bullet point list is a much more tidy way to show varied creator teams through time, however it did also remove a large portion of the other content creators that had been listed, leaving them to only have mentions within other sections of the article. Some of the creators removed/downgraded to just the subfandom and below sections take up a considerable chunk of the 2021 MCYT fandom (like TommyInnit, Ranboo, and Technoblade). It also removed the explanation of some of the content that the varied creators make, as well. I'm going to double check this edit and add back in anything I feel is relevant to the article, and would suggest that if there are any more large changes planned for this page or any other page that there be some discussion on its talk page first so as not to alarm anyone.
