Beginnings of LPStube

This page lists the start date of LPStube as 2005, but were there actually videos being made in 2005 or was it just that the 2005 toy line sparked off the LPStube fandom? It seems like the earliest videos actually date to 2007? --enchantedsleeper (talk) 22:20, 8 August 2021 (UTC)

Not familiar with this fandom specifically, but a lot of earlier YouTube vids seem to have disappeared over the years, either deleted by their creators or hit with DMCA takedowns. I can't find Harry Potter fanvids from before 2006. So it's possible there were LPS fanvids being made in 2005 that are now lost. So maybe we could add "c. 2005" to the infobox for clarity? Yeah, totally. I get that it's possible they were taken down, it's just that the page doesn't reference whether there are known to be any vids made in 2005, so I wondered if we had anything that indicates people were making videos back then, even if it's not an actual video. --enchantedsleeper (talk) 08:33, 9 August 2021 (UTC)

The earliest videos from 2007 were references from Izzyzzz, I'm not sure if there are any earlier than that, at least she hadn't mentioned any. It's definitively possible, since 2005 is when the toyline started, but it might be difficult to find them. YouTube doesn't always put the dates under really old videos now, and you end up having to guess the date by the date of the comments. If you'd like, we can list that while the toyline started in 2005, the current earliest LPSTube videos found are from 2007. Patchlamb (talk) 23:34, 9 August 2021 (UTC)
