- Hmm. I'm on the fence. It's true that it will be hard finding some more information about (like when did they start appearing, where and who used them first etc). But: If you stumble over the abbreviations as fan (for example in fanfiction disclaimers, on message boards, on tumblr or twitter you have nowhere else to look them up - you can only ask which disrupts the discussion. And they are still used a lot in the fandom because people are still lazy... WhatAreFrogs? (talk) 08:01, 11 October 2017 (UTC)
