Talk:List of Marvel Universes
We were talking over on The Avengers page about where the fandom-related information here might best fit. . . it seems to me that (judging by the titles of the pages) this page makes more sense as just a glossary page, explaining the major characteristics of the various universes and then including links to the various related fandom pages (The Avengers, Iron Man, Captain America, X-Men, etc.) where all the info about pairings and example fanworks and so on would be moved. I'd love to work on that project, including researching some non-Steve/Tony stuff (which this page features heavily at the moment), but wanted to get more input on whether I'll be stepping on anybody's toes if I do that. - I think it's a great idea to turn this page into a more neutreal glossary page that also has details about the non-Avengers parts of the Marvel universes! That would make so much more sense. Iv'e only made small edits to this page, so I don't know how others feel about it. (It might be a good idea to also reflect the different verses on the Steve/Tony page somehow. Head's up: The strategy I'm planning for this page is to make all the universe headers consistent by using the numerical designation (the way it is on the Marvel wiki, and the way I just did for Avengers:Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Open to suggestions on whether the page should be organized in ascending/descending order by those numerical designations, or if it makes more sense to organize it by size/importance of the universe to fandom activities. --PhoenixFalls (talk); 05:17, 29 July 2013 (UTC).
- It would proabbyl make sense to have 616 and the MCU at the top, because they are the popular canons, and maybe sort the remaining universes in ascending order.--Fantomas (talk) 13:54, 29 July 2013 (UTC)
