Talk:John
Shouldn't it say John Connor from the Terminator Universe or something like that, because the movies came before the series, and it's the same character in both? --RatCreature 17:13, 4 October 2008 (UTC)
- I was wondering about that, but went with SCC because I don't remember ever really hearing about a Terminator fandom per se. But definitely change it if it's warranted! --Arduinna 17:32, 4 October 2008 (UTC)
- I've read some Terminator stories before SCC existed, so there definitely was a fanfic for it before the spin-off.--RatCreature 17:39, 4 October 2008 (UTC)
- I just tried to check how Terminator is organized here, but it seems so far there is only the SCC page and not some collective Terminator franchise page. So it's probably best to wait and see how the structure there unfolds. (I'm not really up to start reorganizing the Terminator section, as I'm mostly and occasional reader and not that involved.)--RatCreature 17:44, 4 October 2008 (UTC)
To round off the above discussion: Character pages are no longer subpages, so the John Connor linking issue is at rest. I also added in a note for Jon Stewart linking to his ship with Stephen Colbert, since Jon doesn't have a page himself yet and this way gives an idea for his place in fandom. It should probably be removed when he gets a page. -- Kylara 02:07, 22 September 2010 (UTC)
