Talk:Fluff
I can see how my previous phrasing wasn't elegant but being "friendly" with someone is not the same as a having a "friendship". I mean, you can be friendly in all sorts of superficial ways. Maybe "platonic" could work?--Ratcreature 17:52, 9 October 2008 (UTC)
- Changed it to just "whether their relationship is romantic or not," so as to include fluff about family/mentorship/etc. relationships--Penknife 18:21, 9 October 2008 (UTC)
Don't forget "flangst"! Do we want a separate article for this term?--Aethel 02:44, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
- Augh! "Flangst"? Seriously? Maybe make it a sub-section? --Betty 18:53, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
- Why "augh!"? AFAIK it's just a contraction of that "fluffy angst" already mentioned.--Ratcreature 19:01, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
- It's just a somewhat unlovely smoosh, like 'Brangelina'. It conjures up, I don't know, flagella. --Betty 19:17, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
- I guess after being in a fandom that smooshed things into constructions like Snapledore, Snaco and even Snermione(!), nothing really sounds that bad to my ears anymore...--Ratcreature 19:27, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
- Snapeldore honestly sounds like some kind of bottled fruit drink. Oh, fandom. --Betty 19:39, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
