Batwoman redirects to the DC character (as expected) rather than the fan who wrote this? - Hoopla (talk) 21:14, 11 April 2019 (UTC)

A redirect is in order? Batwoman (DC Comics character) and Batwoman (fan)? --MPH (talk) 22:50, 11 April 2019 (UTC)
I think most people who use Batwoman expect to end up on the DC character page. On wikipedia, sometimes there's a "primary topic" that gets the name with no disambig and then the disambig would live at, in this case, Batwoman (disambiguation), with a hatnote at the top of the Katherine Kane page that says "Batwoman" redirects here. For other uses see Batwoman (disambiguation) — although if there's only one thing to disambiguate I think we could probably get away with just a hatnote leading to Batwoman (fan) at the top of the Katherine Kane page.
Disclaimer: A) I'm not in the DC fandom nor am I in fandoms this fan appears to be in, so maybe I'm wrong about which is more likely to be linked to or whatever? B) Here is the wikipedia page about how to disambig but I didn't have time to read all of it before replying bc I gotta go have dinner. - Hoopla (talk) 23:17, 11 April 2019 (UTC)
