Talk:Dark Harry

Wouldn't it be more straightforward to disambiguate these two pages with the titles Dark Harry Potter and Dark Harry Styles? —caes (talk) 03:52, 10 December 2019 (UTC)

I can't speak for 1D but for the Harry Potter version of the trope, "Dark Harry" (or more commonly as I remember it Dark!Harry) was pretty much never written "Dark Harry Potter" or "Dark!Harry Potter" because the trope name comes from how it was written in summaries, especially on fanfiction.net, which had a really small minimum and where of course which Harry you were talking about was assumed. Although Dark Harry Potter is certainly a more graceful page title objectively, I think we'll do better as a wiki to stick to the way the term was/is actually used, because I think that that's a valuable thing to preserve. If anything I'd like to see it changed to [[Dark!Harry (Harry Potter trope) to match Slytherin!Harry because....well because I think bangpaths are neat and a cool fannish thing that we've carried on. - Hoopla (talk) 20:48, 10 December 2019 (UTC)
