Hey Patchlamb! I was just wondering if you remember where you got the info about the minor character of Stitch being a self-insert of the author? I'm only asking because I happened upon a Tumblr post by BamSara themselves with tags expressing confusion about the claim, here, and kinda wanted to rectify any of that confusion. -- OfMonstersAndWerewolves (talk) 15:58, 22 May 2024 (UTC)

It's possible that this was a misinterpretation of when BamaSara was asked if they had an "Irkensona" and they provided an image of Stitch, who is an OC they have in both their Invader Zim and Daycare Attendant fanfics. Though, it seems the tags to that post clarify Stitch isn't really a "sona." Or it could have been something else that caused me to write that, but since I didn't use a reference it would be difficult to check where it could have come from (BamSara posts a lot, and hasn't been active in Invader Zim for quite a while, so it would be a lot of digging for something I may not even find).

If they say Stitch has never been a self-insert and is only an OC, then that should be corrected. It's only a sentence so I'll edit it real quick. Patchlamb (talk) 17:57, 22 May 2024 (UTC)
