• A bit of a "which came first" but I also saw this explainer https://twitter.com/winter_seoks/status/1751007884014469368 which points to a few cakeverse korean comics! Thai fandom popularity?

I don't go here ("here" being cakeverse, Thai OR Korean language fandom, really anything related to this) but reili said on the Fanlore discord server a while ago that it mostly sees this trope in Thai fandom on Twitter.
