I'm not sure it's safe for so many comic scans illustrating the same pairing to be on Fanlore. Has anyone done an analysis of the ship in the comics? If so, we could link to that instead and choose one scan to discuss here. If not, we should identify the years and titles where these scans originate--if they span more years, that would be an interesting comment on the longevity of the pairing.--aethel (talk) 15:01, 13 June 2015 (UTC)

It's not a matter of being safe, it's a matter of Fanlore not being about canon. That's what ship manifesto's are for. We usually remove this kind of "canon evidence" (quotes, images, more quotes, etc.) from pairing pages, except for information that is relevant to the fanon around it. More than half the page is about canon. This is way too much in my opinion. --Doro (talk) 19:40, 5 December 2015 (UTC)

Yay for comics ship expressed by comics themselves

It never occurred to me before I saw this that, of course, showing the comic ship is the best way to explain Steve/Bucky.

I think this is an excellent example of fair use -- the information is by far best expressed by examples -- and hope we never have to remove the comics. --msilverstar (talk) 03:31, 15 June 2015 (UTC)
