Talk:Audiofic
Heya, maybe merge this article with jinjur's one about podfic? Redirect one? --Lian 10:53, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
Actually, the page [Audiofic] is entirely about the archive - it's not used her as a word synonymous with podfic itself, so we need both pages. :) --anatsuno 11:01, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
Wow, uhm, how embarrassing. I apologize! *goes to brush up her reading skills* --Lian 11:05, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
No problem! I can see why it would be confusing - I had a moment's hesitation myself. :) --anatsuno 11:14, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
hey dolls - should i maybe make this page a redirect to podfic, and retitle this content 'audiofic archive'? --jinjurly
- I've seen the term audiofic refer to a story that's created by taking dialogue from a particular show and reworking it in a way that tells a (usually naughty) tale (This SGA audiofic would be an example). Shouldn't this have its own entry instead of redirecting it to podfic? ----Doro 12:00, 1 October 2008 (UTC)
- Doro, i've seen that usage not as "audiofic" but rather as "audfic" or "fanaud" Jinjurly 05:26, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
since I'm representing the cognitively challenged here, I would def. support this move -- less confusion potential for the easily confused :D --Lian 11:54, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
okay, i like the idea, as it also means that you don't have to access podfic info using the term podfic...which is proprietary and feeds into consumer capitalism blah blah. (i lost that battle years ago. sigh.) are we okay with losing the page history? Jinjurly 11:59, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
enh, there is very little history - just me and anat. killing it now. :p Jinjurly 12:00, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
er, okay - can you move what was under Audiofic to Audiofic Archive though? Or is it all lost in time now.--anatsuno 12:04, 29 September 2008 (UTC) clearly I spoke too fast. :D--anatsuno 12:05, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
