Is this not considered a (fan)zine? -JadedPrism (talk) 23:23, 15 July 2023 (UTC)

It was and is a prozine, the opposite of a fanzine. For some reason, this wiki calls those "speculative fiction publications" instead of the normal "prozine". --Orangemike (talk) 00:01, 16 July 2023 (UTC)
Orangemike oh thanks!!! do you know if this is the correct template use then? -JadedPrism (talk) 00:04, 16 July 2023 (UTC)
Weirdly enough, we don't have a template for prozines; so Help:Zines advises you to use the generic Template:Zine. --Orangemike (talk) 00:10, 16 July 2023 (UTC)
I agree with using the zine template, which doesn't specify "fan" or "pro." That info can be in the article itself. MPH (talk) MPH 14:56, 16 July 2023 (UTC)
No, "zine" has a specific meaning and is short for fanzine. "pro-zine" refers to "professional magazine"; it is not a zine at all. The zine template should only be used for zines, not for professional magazines.--aethel (talk) 12:43, 2 August 2023 (UTC)
