Talk:Affirmational Fandom
I think this page needs to be merged into Transformational Fandom. The content overlaps considerably. Following the pattern of Watsonian vs. Doylist I recommend renaming the page to something like Affirmational vs. Transformational Fandom, or we could just retitle it to the meta essay.--aethel (talk) 20:27, 1 November 2015 (UTC) Anyway, I wanted to add more meta links about affirmational vs. transformational fandom (Consumptive fandom & transformative fandom by jedusaur), and the current structure doesn't allow me to do that.--aethel (talk) 20:29, 1 November 2015 (UTC)
- Aha - I had just been making this exact point on the Transformational Fandom talk page, and then I came here and saw you'd advocated for the same thing. I agree that the two pages should be merged. --enchantedsleeper (talk) 11:06, 15 July 2018 (UTC)
- As the pages currently stand, I suppose it makes sense to merge...but I also think that there might be cause for separate pages, at some point, because they are separate terms that are sometimes used not solely in opposition/contrast to each other. For that reason, I'd prefer to see the page titled something like Affirmational vs Transformational Fandom, so that the page is more about the conversation about those two terms in direct contrast with one another. - Fandomgeographies (talk) 13:33, 16 July 2018 (UTC)
- I mean, the two potential page names are near identical in any case, so it's largely an academic question xD Anyway, I support that idea. --enchantedsleeper (talk) 18:51, 16 July 2018 (UTC)

Removal of Skud's deadname.
Per their request, I have removed the link between Skud/damned-colonial's pseudonym and their former legal name. They no longer have that name and would like to stop seeing it when on this site.
