- I've been to fan-run conventions with actors as guests (a Xena fan club meating with 100+ people attending had one of the recurring guest stars for the whole weekend; that was awesome!), so I would say no. Also, FedCon started out as a fan-run convention (I would say it still is one, although there are also for profit interests; the two don't have to exclude each other) and always was an actor con. --Doro (talk) 20:31, 26 January 2013 (UTC)
