Why we love it:This is another fic in the series that began with Commander Octopus and continued in The Adventures of Commander Octopus and Detective Starfish. This time around Danny has been turned into a starfish and tossed in the Pacific. Steve is understandably beside himself with worry as Danny has to survive the dangers of the open ocean to find his way home. Once again cattraine has managed to take a very cracky, silly seeming plot and turn it into a surprisingly poignant, character driven story. This fic has humor, angst, romance and adventure and we can’t recommend the whole series enough.[1]
