Also? not literally 'pure', since slash is definitely involved. Please do not read this journal if you're underage or dislike slash. [...] Oh -- Permissions Stuff: I give blanket permission to podfic any of my fic, but I would like to know that you've done it, so please drop me a link. (If you're interested in any kind of writing remix, please email me first. It's not that I'm against the idea or anything; it's just that the thought is new to me and I'm still settling in with it as a possibility. And yes, I completely see the irony here, that someone who writes fanfic considers that thought new... :-))[1]

T. Verano won the Light My Fire Awards 2007 in the "Gen - New Author" category. New made first place in "Gen - Use of Canon Character(s) Other Than Jim and Blair" and the story The Couch won in the "Slash - Short Story" category. In 2008 New won again, this time in "Gen - Episode Related" and Polishing Shoes won "Gen - Short Story" while Verano got an honorable mention in the "New Author - Slash" category. In 2009 Firsthand got an honorable mention as a "PWP (Plot? What Plot?)" and Verano won the "Slash - Short Story" category again, this time with Reaction.

- The Way It Is, Isn't - Written for comment-fic meme prompt. "Steve is held captive by bad guys and told that the rest of his team is dead. By the time they come to save him, he's pretty traumatised." The story won the 2012 Hawaii Five-0 Ohana Favorite Awards in the category "Favorite Steve and Danny - Genre: Angst".[2] (Steve/Danny pre-slash, 2011)
