Mutual irresistible attraction flows to Its logical conclusion. Neither hang ups nor crippling indecision. As there were no indications of an alternate universe, I'm left with one question: "Spock, first officer of the Enterprise?" I was under the impression he was promoted when Kirk took over from Pike. Love at first sight at a week-long chess match, where a brash Lieutenant Kirk and First Officer Spock of the Enterprise, under Capt. Pike, compete. Gary Mitchell tries to check the two men but Spock mates Kirk in one sexy move. Satisfies my intense dislike of Mitchell. Beautiful idea! [2]
